Ding Feng Teow Chew Tau Fu Fa @ Concubine Lane, Ipoh

Tuesday, July 05, 2016

Sometimes we have to escape the big city of KL and go to somewhere else to hangout.

So we did, we went for a short trip in Ipoh for 2 days 1 night. Our whole point of the trip is to relax and visit the Lost World of Tambun since I never been there before.

We arrived at one of the new tourist spot in Ipoh called the Concubine Lane. Basically the street is just a back alley of old shop lots but with more fancy stalls and shops.

The amount of people who sit inside this particular shop is so high that it captured our attention, we walked nearer and realized that they are selling this Teow Chew tau fu fa.

We ordered a bowl to share since we just had our late breakfast.

This is by far one of the most delicious tau fu fa that we ever tasted at RM 1.30 ONLY. The texture is smooth and soft, the taste is also just nice with the amount of sugar syrup the shop owner put. Besides, it's very aromatic with the smell of the soy bean.

And of course, how can we forget about the drinks. We ordered this traditional soya bean with white sugar syrup.

Soya bean in a traditional looking cup at RM 1.50, taste really good to be honest.

And here come our empty bowl  bowl of tau fu fa with wefie. (I know the brightness is too high here, so sorry as we busy concentrating on our face rather than the food ya)

A bowl of teow chew tau fu fa served on a little traditional chicky bowl with a cup of soya bean.

The shop isn't that huge so we are considered lucky to find ourselves a table.

The bros who are operating the shop. Guess is a family business?

There have more types of tau fu fa now if you are up for a try here. Do check them out ok?

Stay tune, our video will be coming up real soon.
